Your brand, practice, or space creates something that genuinely matters. This is not about scale or revenue. A single ceramic artist making 20 pieces a year qualifies. A mass-production brand with no soul does not. We ask: does this make someone’s life better, more beautiful, or more meaningful?
Applies to all three Creatives worldsBehind every verified brand is a person — not a committee, not an investor deck, not a marketing strategy. We want to know who built this, why they built it, and what it means to them. The story does not need to be dramatic. It needs to be true.
Required in Section IV of your applicationThese three values are the foundation of the AlmaA world. You do not need to use these words — but your work must demonstrate them. We look for brands that care about the details, that do not cut corners for convenience, and that exist for a reason beyond profit.
Assessed through your work and your written answersWe look at your website first. Then your social media. We are not judging follower counts or aesthetics. We are looking for consistency between what you say and what you do. An inactive account is not a problem. A presence that contradicts your application is.
Your website is the first thing we reviewThis is the final and most important criterion. We ask ourselves: if someone close to us needed exactly what this brand offers — would we send them here, without hesitation? If yes, the application moves forward. If there is doubt, we ask questions or decline respectfully. This is not a metric. It is a standard.
The most important question we askEvery application goes through the same process. Here is exactly what we look at.
Before we look at anything else, we read what you wrote in your application. The “why” behind your brand matters more than any metric. We want to understand who you are and why you built this.
Your website is the clearest expression of your brand. We look at the quality of your work, the clarity of your offering, and whether your presence feels genuine and consistent with your application.
Not for followers. For honesty. We look at whether your online presence matches what you told us. We also check that you are real, active in some form, and not presenting yourself as something you are not.
Final step. Would we send someone we love to this brand without hesitation? If yes — approved. If doubt exists, we reach out with questions or decline respectfully and explain why.
Your follower count. A brand with 200 followers and extraordinary work will always be approved over one with 200,000 and no soul.
Your revenue or size. We have verified solo artists and small studios with no employees. Scale is irrelevant.
Your aesthetic choices. Minimalist, maximalist, traditional, experimental — authenticity is the only aesthetic requirement.
Your language or location. AlmaA is international. Applications are accepted in any language.
How long you have been operating. New brands with a clear vision and honest foundation are as eligible as established ones.
The AlmaA Creatives is not designed to accommodate every brand. It is designed to honour the ones that deserve to be found.
